Using elevated rights increases the risk of malware infection and significantly increases the possible impact of such malware. Use of elevated rights must be kept to an absolute minimum.</p>\n<p>It is forbidden to remove any software that is part of the standard software package within the initial setup of the device. Furthermore, it is forbidden to install on this device any external software or hardware which is not necessary for performing your tasks. It is also prohibited to install software without the proper license.</p>\n<p>WinGD reserves the right to conduct screenings of the installed hard- and software on the devices provided to the employee as well as monitor the use of Local Administrator Rights.</p>\n<p>Any violation of the above may lead to serious disciplinary actions by WinGD.</p>\n<p><b>Duration</b></p>\n<p>Local Administrator Rights are normally granted for a maximum of 6 months only, after which a request for renewal must be submitted.</p>\n<p><b>Support</b></p>\n<p>Devices, i.e. desktop or laptop computer with local admin rights are supported by the SWISSCOM Helpdesk only on a best effort basis without any applicable SLA.</p>\n<p>Any fault or malfunction will be resolved by reinstallation of the device, for which a ticket must be opened. Any additional software outside the standard software package needs to be reinstalled by the user separately. No backup is kept of locally stored user data.</p>\n<p><b>Approval</b></p>\n<p>Approval for Local Administrator Rights must be given both by your supervisor and by the Head of IT Operations .
